I'm a recovering reporter curing my addiction to storytelling by teaching the profession to students at The University of Michigan.
My life is completed by my wife, Dr. Bindu, and four daughters: Reiley the liberal brainy one, Maggi the med student, Mehar the middle-school tekkie and Asha the 3rd-grade cowgirl. Oh, and there's Kitta, the washed-out Leader Dog who, like me, switched careers and found a home as our resident black Lab watchdog and loyal companion.
Here's the TV version of my resume: 30 years as a reporter extraordinaire, doctorate in media studies, creator and director of the Journalism Program at UM-Flint.
